Our Heritage
A Legacy of Quality and Service
In 1958 Ken and Jane Slack opened the doors of Academy Fence in Saint James. The family tradition goes back even further, to a shop opened in Ridgewood, New York in 1925.
Today it is very rewarding to see second and third generation customers, and we thank every one of them for their patronage.
What fencing materials are available?
We can craft any wood, vinyl PVC, chain link or metal fence, including estate aluminum. Bamboo, exotic woods and stone stucco are some of the other materials we have used.
Do you offer custom fencing?
Yes. We can offer suggestions to fit your unique situation, and combining styles is our specialty.
Do you install commercial fencing?
Yes. Academy Fence handles residential and commercial installations, including commercial chain link fencing projects. See Commercial Fencing.
Do you offer railings?
Yes. We build vinyl porch railings, stair railings and newel posts, made for both safety and strength. See Railings.
